As usual my favourites are a bit late. My body is not a happy bunny at the moment. If I do anything I seem to need to sleep for the whole of the next day. My concentration has been at about 1% which is not conducive to writing posts. Luckily I seem to have found a burst of energy and motivation so I am writing this up and editing the photos at 11:50pm whilst having a lil disco. What songs are you loving at the moment? I am in need of some recommendations.
Anyway here are the products I have been loving recently. There's only a few because June has been a pretty naked face month. Here's hoping I get to play with more products this month.
I was sent this serum last month and it has definitely helped my face. I have a full review post up here. It was designed to instantly leave your skin glowing, smoother and tighter. It claims to calm, repair and soothe sensitive, dry or mature skin and boost radiance. It has definitely helped with my dry skin and my skin looks so much healthier. I look less dead which means people aren't constantly asking me if I'm ill when I'm not wearing foundation. If only I could find something to make me feel less dead. I would be unstoppable.
IT Cosmetics CC Cream
I haven't really been wearing many base products recently. However, when I do I am loving this. I have seen so many people rave about it and the hype is real. It works so well with my dry skin and makes me look so glowy and healthy. This isn't even the illumination one which looks like it gives such a beautiful glowy/dewy finish. I think I may have to get that one when this one runs out. My only criticism of this would be the shade range. I got the shade light and it's a tad too dark for me but once I add my Body Shop lightening drops its fine
The Body Shop Mango Body Yogurt
I absolutely adore The Body Shop products. I love their body butters so much, mainly because they smell incredible. The only downside to them is when you slather them on you kinda feel like a fruity slug. They are so thick and nourishing they can leave you feeling slimy.
These new body yogurts are the answer to that. They still smell absolutely delicious and weirdly edible. They also leave your body feeling super nourished and nicely moisturised. However, it sinks in so quickly that you aren't left feeling greased up. You can get dressed or jump into bed pretty much as soon as you've got the lid back on. They are perfect for this sticky weather and my skin smells and feels amazing.
Models Own Hedkandi Hedonist Nail Polish
I've painted my toe nails with this and oh my god it is so perfect for Summer. It's so bright and looks so great with a tan. Models own aren't usually my favourite formula of polishes but they have such an amazing colour selection. I find they can chip quite easily on my fingers. However, they are great for toes. Unfortunately I think this shade was limited edition but I definitely recommend checking out their polish for tans range.
Primark Clear Lip Gloss
I don't know what has happened to me at the moment but I am loving glossy lips at the moment. Not a huge fan of my hair sticking to my face though. I picked this gloss up for £2 from Primark and it's amazing. It's not overly sticky and looks amazing as well as lasting really well. I love chucking this on top of a nude matte lipstick (mainly ABH Buff or DOC Stone) for a less drying look. It also smells really good.
Clinique Chubby Stick Sculpting Highlight
I got this free when I bought some stuff a while ago and I've only just tried it. I can't believe I didn't use it sooner. It's so beautiful. It gives such a gorgeous glow and blends beautifully. I am loving stick highlighters at the moment. Well highlighters in general really. I've cut down on makeup because of this amazing weather so am mainly wearing this, brow gel, mascara and a glossy lip. I love it.
What are you loving at the moment? What are your must haves in this gorgeous weather?
