Scream 1- 4
Is there any better series of films to watch at Halloween? I love these films so much. I love that they take the piss out of their own genre because horror films are always pretty ridiculous.
Orphan
I made my parents watch this film and my dad got creeped out and requested a disney film after. After having a miscarriage Kate & John adopt Esther. However, weird things start happening and Kate think's there's something wrong with Esther but no one will believe her. Has Kate lost her mind or is there really something wrong with their adopted child? I really did not expect the ending however it does put me off children. Why are they always so creepy in horror films?
Oculus
I bought this on a whim because it was really cheap so wasn't expecting much but I actually really enjoyed it. Tim has recently been released from protective custody after been accused of the murder of his parents. He's looking to move on with his life but his sister Kaylie is convinced that an antique mirror is the cause of the murders. She's determined to prove he's innocent and tracks down the mirror only to end up back in their childhood nightmare. It's an intense film trying to work out what is real and what is a hallucination. You also get to witness what happened in the past when they were kids and experience a traumatic ending.
Beetlejuice
I'm not a massive Tim Burton film fan (I know I'm sorry) but I adore Beetlejuice. It's a classic and it is a must watch at Halloween.
Hocus Pocus
A Halloween classic. You cannot beat Hocus Pocus and is it really Halloween if you don't watch it? My brother only watched this for the first time 2 years ago but he's making up for lost time and we usually watch it at least 3 or 4 times.
Casper
Ahh this film. It's soo good. Casper is adorable, his uncles are hilarious. It's just such a fun film.
Casper meets Wendy
This film is so cheesy and the acting is so bad but I can't help but watch it. I just love casper. Also lil Hilary Duff is so cute.
I'm definitely planning a marathon to get through all these films soon
