After years of ignoring my skin I've finally started using an actual skincare routine. I'm still way too lazy and not at all clued up when it comes to skin but I'm working on it. I struggle with dry skin and random breakouts across my chin so here's what I've been loving recently.
L'Oreal Paris Extraordinary Oil Cleansing Oil
I absolutely adore this cleanser. I never used to cleanse because I'm beyond lazy. I would use micellar water to take my makeup off and that was it. I then fell in love with Lush products but I started breaking out really bad so decided to mix it up. This was on offer so I picked it up and it was love at first wash. I love washing my face with this. It gets all my makeup off and leaves my skin feeling so soft and refreshed. My skin is so clear right now and I am beyond happy (clearly my skin knew I was scheduling this and became breakout city). This is soo easy to wash off and it smells incredible. It doesn't even taste that bad. How did I get it in my mouth? I have no idea.
L'oreal Pure Clay Detox Mask
I did a Full Review on this. Spoiler I love it. It refreshes my skin and leaves me super soft and glowing. You may have guessed but it smells amazing too. Probably my favourite face mask at the moment.
Garnier Skin Naturals Soft Essentials 24hr Nourishing Day Cream
I ended up buying this as an emergency. I was away in Loughborough for a week and I forgot my moisturiser. So obviously my super weird dry skin decided to flake and look gross. We were doing an emergency cheese & cracker shop anyway so I went and grabbed a cheap moisturiser. I think it cost me about £3 and I wasn't expecting much. However I love it. It is so nourishing and leaves my skin feeling so hydrated. It isn't greasy at all and sinks in nicely. The only downside is I'm not a fan of the scent of roses. The scent doesn't linger long though so it's all good
Lush Eau Roma Water
I had never used a toner before being recommended it in Lush. I have now nearly finished this bottle and will probably repurchase. I never thought I would be the person who cleansed, toned and moisturised let alone every night but here we are and my skin thanks me. It does smell like lavender which is a downside but it leaves my face soft and it hydrates and soothes my skin. Safe to say I really like it.
Garnier Micellar Water
I always use this to take off my eyeliner and the majority of my makeup before cleansing just to make it easier. It's also perfect for those days when I just don't have enough energy or am in too much pain for my full skincare routine. It takes all my makeup off easily and is affordable.
So that's what I've been loving on my skin recently although my face is having the biggest strop at the moment so I'll let you know if I find anything to help with that.
