SkinKissed Vitamin C Serum
9 July 2018
As you are all probably sick of hearing by now, I have very dry skin. A side affect of a few of my medications is dry skin, eyes & mouth and wow is it frustrating. I have tried so many products to try and help my scaly face and I am yet to find a holy grail. That being said this SkinKissed Vitamin C Serum* has definitely helped a hell of a lot.
Bravura London Chemical Peels
11 June 2018
As you all know, and are probably sick of hearing, I have incredibly dry skin. Like so dry that I look like I have scales if I wear foundation. I also suffer with a lot of breakouts on my chin. Before Christmas I treated myself to a whole knew Bravura London skincare regime. I also picked up two of the recommended chemical peels and then ended up being too scared to try them. My skin can be quite fussy sometimes. I finally plucked up the courage to do a patch test and it was all fine so I took the plunge. I've been using these for about 3 months now and I am in love. I don't use them as regularly as I should and I really need to stick to a routine to get the full benefit but they are amazing
First of all Bravura absolutely kills the packaging game. How damn pretty are the glass bottles?

April 2018 Favourites
30 April 2018
I don't want to jinx it but I seem to be on a roll with posts at the moment. It feels so good to actually be posting again. I can't remember the last time I wrote and posted regularly. It's definitely been about 6 months.
Anyway April has flown by. My baby brother is now 19 and I feel super old. May means I turn 25. On the plus side my car insurance finally goes down a lot because apparently over 25 year olds drive like saints. My best friend also gets married in May and I cannot wait for the big day. Plus I'll be reunited with all my uni friends. We haven't seen each other in forever. May is going to be a good month. I can feel it.
So here's what I loved in April. Once again it's a fair bit of skincare. I feel like next month there will be more makeup featured.

Origins Face Masks
29 March 2018
This is my first beauty post in what feels like forever. I mean I know I haven't been posting much of anything recently but I can't remember the last time I posted something beauty related.
I am obsessed with face masks at the moment. I do at least 2 a week if not more. I just love how they leave my skin feeling. I 'm in desperate need of a good skin pamper at the moment because I've slacked on my skincare due to tiredness and I ate some dairy chocolate so my face is not happy. I picked this cute little set up in the Boots boxing day sale and I'm definitely a fan.

January 2018 Favourites
12 February 2018
Okay so January was a complete blogging fail. To be fair I didn't really do much at all apart from be ill and overdo it playing basketball. Here's hoping February is the month I can get my shit together. I mean this is my second post of the month and I actually scheduled it so fingers crossed it lasts. As I haven't been up to much this month, my favourites are very limited. It's basically skincare and lip products but who doesn't love a good face mask?
Bravura London Skincare
18 January 2018
If you have read any of my posts before you will have seen me moaning about my dry skin...a lot. It's a massive problem and makes wearing makeup impossible. I was also struggling with massive breakouts. I cut out dairy and that definitely helped but I also decided to treat myself to some new skincare. Sarah said that Bravura London skincare had massively helped her skin so I picked up a whole routine in the Black Friday Sale. I love that there is a page for your skin type with a routine that will suit your problems. I went on the Dry, Problem Skin page and basically bought everything.

Bio Essence 24K Gold
17 November 2017
You've probably seen this brand on instagram a few times. Bio Essence 24k Gold has recently started being sold in Superdrug and I've kindly been sent a few pieces to try. The range is infused with flakes of 24k gold which is apparently a super antioxidant. It claims to effectively block free radicals to help skin defy signs of ageing. It does this by promoting blood and oxygen circulation to improve the skins metabolism. The 24K gold range also stimulates the production of collagen and elastin which helps keep skin firm and youthful. The range was designed to help combat dry & dull skin, fine lines and wrinkles.
Lush Spa Cardiff Winter Event
3 November 2017
Last week I attended my first ever Lush event and I enjoyed every second of it. I don't think I have ever been to an event that smelled that damn good. Not many places smell as good as a Lush store.
I wandered around the store with fellow bloggers Holly and Lottie whilst our guides Amber & Ellie showed us all the Halloween/Christmas products. They also explained the new concept of naked packaging which has been introduced this year. In an effort to cut down on plastic waste you can now purchase naked versions of most of the products. Shower gel, lip scrubs, body conditioner (which I will definitively be picking up soon as it feels amazing on the skin). We were also shown around the amazing spa and oh my god it is incredible. It's so peaceful and relaxing as well as being fully accessible. I feel like I need to book a treatment asap.
I thoroughly enjoyed the event and obviously treated myself to some products so thought I'd show you what I got. First things first they generously gave us 3 full size products wrapped in adorable knot wraps as our goodie bags.
September 2017 Favourites
10 October 2017
As usual my monthly favourites is a little bit late. At the start of every month I promise myself that this is the month I am going to get my shit together and post on a proper schedule and then it all goes wrong. I think it's time to face that I will never have a blog schedule. Anyway here is what I've been loving recently.

These two products have completely saved my skin. I know you are all probably fed up of how much I moan about my dry skin but it's a real problem. I legit look like I have scales after wearing makeup all day. If you have dry skin then you need to try the Nip & Fab Dragons Blood Range.

Lacura Skincare
4 August 2017
If you've been into Aldi recently you may have seen this Lacura skincare range. My mum kindly treated me to the range and I've been testing it out. I would never normally pick up skincare from Aldi especially as I don't go in very often. I seem to get angry old people ramming me with their trolleys or I can't get down aisles so I tend to avoid it. However I am very impressed with this range and it's such a good price.

Clinique Skincare And Why It's Not For Me
7 June 2017
I was talked into visiting the clinique counter when I had my makeup done by smashbox in boots a while ago. The lady on the counter was so lovely and had a look at my skin to recommend some products for me. She couldn't get over how dry my skin was and recommended the 3 step programme.

May 2017 Favourites
31 May 2017
It's favourites time again. This month has been pretty good. I mean I celebrated my birthday with peanut butter cookies and cake so it kinda had to be a good month. We've had some amazing weather and I am always happier when it's warm. I'm such a sun worshipper lets just ignore the fact that the sun betrayed me and fried me to a crisp. I'm peeling so bad it's ridiculous. Now onto my favourites.

8 May 2017
May is always a good month. It's my brithday month (because who even has just one day) and it's nearly summer, my fave season. To make it even better this year Nouveau Lashes have a new product release. The Lash & Lid Foaming Cleanser* has been released today and it's a good one.

April 2017 You Beauty Box
17 April 2017
Another month another You Beauty Box. I haven't had one for a couple of months (check out the last box here) because I wasn't really feeling the choices. I make sure I check every month though so if anything takes my fancy I can sign back up which is super easy.
March 2017 Favourites
31 March 2017
How is March over already? It's not been a great month for posting. I mean this year so far has been pretty shit for posting in general. My brother was in hospital for nearly 2 weeks this month and I swear I have literally only been in my house to sleep and sometimes not even for that as I've been sleeping at my parents house. I'm hoping to get organised in April and start posting more consistently. Fingers crossed.

The Body Shop Skincare
14 December 2016
I've never really tried any of The Body Shops skincares offerings. Of course I adore their body butters and shower gels. The white musk perfume was the scent of some of my high school years. The mango body spray reminds me of summer. But for some reason I have never ventured into their skincare.

Skin Care Favourites
21 October 2016
After years of ignoring my skin I've finally started using an actual skincare routine. I'm still way too lazy and not at all clued up when it comes to skin but I'm working on it. I struggle with dry skin and random breakouts across my chin so here's what I've been loving recently.
L'oreal Pure Clay Detox Mask
3 October 2016
Who doesn't love a good face mask? There's nothing better than a pamper night in front of the TV. My brother always wants in on the action too. He loves a good pamper sesh. When I saw the new L'oreal masks on offer I decided to pick up the L'oreal Pure Clay Detox Mask and I'm so glad I did.
Erno Laszlo Firmarine Hydrogel Mask
26 September 2016
Is there anything better than curling up in front of the TV with a face mask and a cuppa? I got this Erno Laszlo mask in my September You Beauty Box and I was dying to try it. My face is always in need of some moisture so I whacked it on grabbed a cuppa and stuck Lie to me on (I've finished it and now don't know what to do with my life. What can I watch?)
